Risk Notices

Buying, renting or investing in property and businesses carries real risk. Please read these notices before acting on anything you find on Realtabook.

• Verify everything independently. Ownership, title, NOC/approval status, boundaries, and dues can be misrepresented. Confirm them with the relevant authority and a lawyer.
• Deal in person and safely. Meet in public or official settings, and never transfer money before you have verified the property and the counterparty (§51.7 safety guidance).
• Payments are off-platform. Realtabook never holds funds; we cannot recover money sent to another user (§62.2). Beware of anyone asking for advance payment or "processing fees".
• Market values fluctuate. Prices, demand and rental yields can fall as well as rise; intelligence figures are estimates, not guarantees.
• Report suspicious activity. Use the report tools on any listing or profile so our team can investigate (§44).
