Property Buying & Selling Guide (Pakistan)
Everything you need to buy, sell or rent property in Pakistan with confidence. Realtabook is a listing platform โ we never hold your money โ so understanding the process protects you.
1. Verify the NOC and approvals
Always confirm the No Objection Certificate (NOC) and the approving authority (CDA, LDA, DHA, Bahria, PDA, etc.). On Realtabook, an NOC badge means the seller has declared an approving authority โ still verify the original documents in person.
2. Understand land units
Plots are quoted in Marla, Kanal, Square Yards or Acre depending on the region. Use our free Area Converter to compare like-for-like, and confirm the society's Marla standard (225 / 250 / 272.25 sq ft).
3. Check the true price
Compare the asking price against the Property Price Index and per-square-foot values for the area. Review the listing's price history where the seller has made it public.
4. Meet safely and verify ownership
Meet in safe, public places or at the property with the registered owner. Verify the title (Fard / registry) and CNIC before any token or advance. Never transfer money to anyone claiming to act on Realtabook's behalf.
